CopyLook cannot start on this page
Chrome internal pages, browser extension pages and the Chrome Web Store are restricted. Open an ordinary website, refresh it after extension reloads, and activate CopyLook there.
The wrong area is selected
Use Parent to include a surrounding component or Child to narrow the selection. Pick Again lets you start a new selection. Read the selection instructions for the available keyboard controls.
The preview differs from the source
Read the visible capture limitations; More → Technical capture details shows the full notes. Use Read styles for unreadable external stylesheets; each approved host covers all captured stylesheets on that host. An unavailable image or font can change the appearance. When available, Source viewport uses the original page width, which may differ from the selected component’s width. Older saved results use the captured component width. Fit viewport scales the inspection viewport to the available width and height. More height expands it for longer content and can change height-based layout; Source viewport in Size & backdrop resets its size. Actual size and native scrolling help inspect details. A light/dark backdrop can reveal a transparent selection without adding that background to copied code. More → Settings & saved result contains Match source size.
An image or font is missing
Assets stay at their original URLs by default. They can be removed, require authentication or reject requests from another origin. More → Embedded visual assets can add readable canvas stills and fonts you have permission to reuse. It briefly scrolls the source for canvas capture and restores the position. Empty, protected, sensitive or oversized assets stay unavailable; failures preserve successful assets. Remove embedded assets restores font links and canvas placeholders. CopyLook does not host replacements. Check the destination’s browser console and resource requests.
Copying fails
Keep the result open and retry the Copy action after checking the browser’s clipboard access. A failed clipboard write uses none of the free allowance. Recopying the same successful capture uses no extra allowance.
The free allowance is exhausted
Use Saved copies to restore a recent counted result, or More → Return to last copied result. Recopying a saved result uses no additional allowance. New visual previews are available, while new complete code and copying require paid access. Paid access is not configured in this build.
Purchase recovery or refunds
Live purchases are not available in this build. Typing an email address cannot activate CopyLook. Email us for purchase help or prepare a refund request below. Purchase help and refund request preparation.
